Returns and exchange policy/procedure
All refund rights under Australian law apply.
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure. If the failure is minor, we reserve our right to offer to repair only and reserve the right to not offer a refund or a store credit note. You can choose between a refund, exchange or store credit note where goods are faulty, wrongly described, different from a sample shown to you or don’t do what they are supposed to. Retain your receipt for proof of purchase.
How to return an item
In the unlikely event that we supply faulty or damaged goods, You will have the choice to be refunded of the value of the faulty or damaged goods, if and only if the products have been purchased directly on our website, https://www.zaomakeupaustralia.com.au, and you notified us by email to email@example.com within 2 days from date of reception of the products at your address.
If you would like to return an item, please contact our Customer Service Team
on firstname.lastname@example.org. Please attach a printed copy of the original receipt of purchase and a brief explanation detailing the reason for your return.
You will then be contacted by a ZAO MAKEUP AUSTRALIA staff member.
When returning an item or items, all parts, label and cotton pouch must be in their original unopened packaging in order to be eligible for a refund. For hygienic reasons, cosmetic products cannot be returned once opened.
If you return is approved, please send your item(s) via a prepaid and traceable method to ensure safe and documented delivery. ZAO MAKEUP AUSTRALIA takes no responsibility for missing incoming deliveries without proof of delivery.
Before receiving any form of reimbursement or credit note, you will be responsible until reception of the products at our warehouse.
If you are returning an item pursuant to our change of mind policy, you are responsible for all shipping and handling costs including return postage.
Please allow 14 days for your exchange or refund to be processed.
Please note, we cannot accept returns of ZAO MAKEUP AUSTRALIA goods purchased at any other retailer than our website https://www.zaomakeupaustralia.com.au. As we each manage our own stock and are separate entities. Only products purchased online from https://www.zaomakeupaustralia.com.au will be eligible for return or exchange.
All online orders are processed within 3 business days. Please allow our warehouse 72hrs for your online order to be processed. No orders will be sent out on public holidays or weekends.
Terms of service
Every reasonable effort has been taken in the preparation of this website to ensure the accuracy of its contents, however, no warranty is given. Illustrations and all other photographic depictions are for presentation purposes only.
At this stage, we only ship within Australia and New Zealand via our Online Store.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to Australia Post owned properties, such as post offices, PO boxes, Parcel Collect, locked bags or parcel lockers. This is because Australia Post won't allow our courier to do so without an expensive surcharge. We apologize for the inconvenience.
